The setting
Working from home was a regular part of this Newcastle real estate agent’s week. With children in the house, he wanted a private place to take work calls.
He identified room in the garage for a dedicated calling space. The existing garage also accommodated storage and exercise equipment.
The pod
A FocusPod Solo was installed in that available space. Its single-person format matched the brief: somewhere to step into for a call.
The installation photograph shows a white exterior, a glass door and an internal desk shelf. The pod sits within the garage alongside its other uses.
The detail
The starting point was a practical question: where could a work call happen in a busy home? In this case, the answer was a space the customer had already identified in his garage.
